The Daggerheart Hope & Fear standard edition includes a book of around 200 pages, a box containing cards and 2 rip pads of blank adversary sheets. First, players gain new character options, including 4 new classes: Witch, Warlock, Brawler and Assassin. Also, each new class includes 2 unique subclasses, giving groups more ways to build memorable heroes.

GMs receive more than 130 new adversaries, 28 environments and blank adversary sheets for creating custom threats. In addition, the book includes more than 100 weapons, armour, items and consumables, plus 4 new Campaign Frames that introduce new worlds and settings. As a result, this expansion gives groups more tools for character growth, encounter design and campaign creation.
