The Lord of the Rings Roleplaying Trials of Saruman is an adventure anthology for The Lord of the Rings Roleplaying, the 5E adaptation of The One Ring tabletop roleplaying game based on the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. In these adventures, the heroes are sent to serve, watch or question the White Wizard Saruman before the treason of Isengard has begun.
This Trials of Saruman 5E adventure anthology contains six adventures set from the year 2965 to the opening moves of the War of the Ring. They can be played individually or connected as part of a larger tale, giving Loremasters flexible material for Middle-earth campaigns.
Saruman is still known as the Lord of Isengard, a counsellor to kings, a master of Ring-lore and one of the chief adversaries of the Enemy. However, his pride is growing. Perhaps his fate is already written, or perhaps the Player-heroes can still change the ending.

More about Trials of Saruman 5E adventure anthology
Trials of Saruman 5E adventure anthology gives Loremasters a campaign framework built around one of Middle-earth's most powerful and dangerous figures. First, the adventures place Player-heroes close to Saruman while his wisdom, influence and pride are all still in play. Also, the structure supports both episodic sessions and a wider campaign arc.
Because this book uses The Lord of the Rings Roleplaying 5E rules, it is a strong choice for groups who enjoy Tolkien's world but prefer a 5E compatible rules framework.
