New Warhammer 40K Space Marine Codex, Models & Command Pack Available
New Space Marine Releases Have Arrived at R&R Hobbies
Games Workshop’s latest Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine releases are now available at R&R Hobbies. This new Space Marine refresh brings with it the new 11th Edition Codex, Command Pack, updated versions of several familiar units, new characters, and standalone releases from the Armageddon boxed set.
You can find the new range online or visit us in-store at South Windsor.
11th Edition Space Marine Codex
At the centre of the new releases is the Codex: Space Marines (11th Edition), a 232-page book packed with updated datasheets, army rules, detachments, background information and artwork.
Alongside everything you need to field Space Marines on the tabletop, the Codex takes a closer look inside a Space Marine fortress-monastery, adding plenty of extra detail for players who enjoy the background and lore of the Adeptus Astartes.
Space Marine Command Pack and Dice
The new Space Marines Command Pack contains 96 reference cards covering detachment rules, enhancements, Stratagems and a token reference card. It provides quick access to key rules without having to constantly flick back through the Codex during a game.
The pack also contains 24 double-sided tokens for keeping track of rules and effects on the tabletop.
Joining the Command Pack is a new set of Space Marines Dice. The set contains 16 silver-coloured D6 dice with black pips, with a stylised Crux Terminatus replacing the six.
Both the Command Pack and dice are limited releases, so once they're gone, they're gone.
Refreshed Space Marine Models
Several well-known Space Marine units have received updated kits with this release, while a familiar character also makes his return from Legends.
The refreshed kits include:
The Space Marine Captain on Bike also returns to the range. With weapon options including a master-crafted power weapon, thunder hammer or plasma pistol, he gives Outrider formations and other fast-moving Space Marine forces a mobile character to lead them into battle.
There is also a completely new character joining the Space Marine range: Kaius Konorius. The Ultramarines Chapter Champion is a close-combat specialist designed to fight alongside other Space Marine units and take on enemy Characters and infantry.
Armageddon Units Now Available Separately
Following the standalone release of the Ork units from the Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon 11th Edition boxed set, it's now the Space Marines' turn.
The following kits are available separately:
- Champions of Armageddon - Chaplain with Jump Pack, Ancient and three Eradicators with Heavy Bolters
- Eradicator Squad with Heavy Bolters
- Land Speeder
For anyone who missed the original Armageddon box, the standalone releases make it much easier to pick up the units you wanted without having to track down the complete boxed set.
