Christmas Shipping and Opening Hours
Planning your Christmas shopping? Whether you are picking up a last-minute gift, adding to your tabletop collection or stocking up on hobby supplies, here is everything you need to know about R&R Hobbies' Christmas shipping and opening hours for 2026.
Christmas and New Year Opening Hours
Our South Windsor store will be taking a short break over Christmas and New Year.
- Last day open: Saturday, 19 December 2026
- Store closed: Sunday, 20 December 2026 to Monday, 4 January 2027
- Store reopens: Tuesday, 5 January 2027
Our online store will remain open throughout the holiday period, so you can continue shopping for your favourite trading card games, board games, roleplaying games, miniatures and hobby supplies.
Christmas and New Year Online Order Dispatch
We will continue dispatching eligible orders after our physical store closes. However, there will be a temporary pause in dispatch over the Christmas and New Year period.
| Order Placed | Dispatch Schedule |
|---|---|
| Up to and including 20/12/2026 | Dispatched by 22/12/2026 |
| From 21/12/2026 onwards | Dispatch resumes from 06/01/2027 |
Please note: Dispatch dates are not delivery dates. Once an order has been dispatched, delivery times depend on Australia Post and the destination.
Christmas 2026 Australia Post Delivery Deadlines
Australia Post has published its recommended final lodgement dates for Christmas 2026. These dates provide the best chance of parcels arriving before Christmas Day but are not guaranteed.
We recommend placing all your Christmas orders by the 10th of December to have the best chance of receiving them on time.
For full details, please refer to the official Australia Post Christmas delivery deadlines.
Ordering Christmas Gifts from R&R Hobbies
We strongly recommend ordering your Christmas gifts as early as possible, particularly if you are ordering from outside NSW or live in a regional or remote area.
Although Express Post may offer faster delivery for eligible destinations, choosing Express Post does not guarantee your order will arrive before Christmas.
If you are shopping close to Christmas, please consider Australia Post's published deadlines before completing your purchase.
Shopping During Our Holiday Closure
Even while our physical store is closed, you can continue browsing and placing orders through our website.
Explore our range of trading card games, Dungeons & Dragons products, Warhammer miniatures, board games, painting supplies and other hobby essentials.
Orders placed from 21 December 2026 will begin shipping from 6 January 2027.
