Vallejo True Metallic Metal

Vallejo True Metallic Metal is a coordinated metallic paint system for miniature painters, wargamers and scale modellers who want controlled metallic highlights, mid-tones, shadows and airbrush application. The range includes 20 colour families, with each family available as Light, Base, Shade and Airbrush formulations.

From classic Sterling Silver, Imperial Gold and Ancient Copper through to vivid Ruby Red, Sapphire Blue, Amethyst Purple and Dusken Green, the range makes it easier to build consistent metallic colour schemes across armour, weapons, machinery, fantasy creatures and decorative details.

Light, Base, Shade and Airbrush metallic paints

Each colour family is organised into four coordinated tones. Use Base as the main metallic colour, Shade for deeper areas and recesses, and Light for raised edges and reflective highlights. The matching Airbrush colour provides a coordinated option for smooth sprayed layers, transitions and larger surfaces.

Individual product pages also link directly to the other tones in the same family, related colours and useful contrasting colours. This makes it easier to move between coordinated paints while planning a complete metallic scheme.
