Clean and condition valuable painting brushes with da Vinci 4433 KERNSEIFE Brush Soap. This specialist vegan soap helps remove paint residue while keeping natural hair, bristles and synthetic fibres elastic and smooth.

The 85 g soap is supplied in a practical round metal tin. As a result, it remains neatly contained between painting sessions and is easy to store or carry with a portable miniature painting kit.

Brush cleaning soap in a metal tin

The reconditioning formula is made from vegetable oils and is designed for regular brush care. Water-soluble paints and wet acrylic paint should first be rinsed from the brush with water before the damp brush is gently worked across the soap.

Massage the lather through the brush head, paying attention to paint trapped near the ferrule, then rinse thoroughly. After cleaning, carefully reshape the brush and allow it to dry completely.

The soap may also be used after an appropriate specialist cleaner has removed other paint types. Following this step with soap and water helps maintain the condition of the brush fibres.
