Celebrate 10 years of Symbaroum with Symbaroum RPG Revised Core Books and two major setting expansions. This five book bundle includes the revised core line plus expanded setting material for Davokar, Ambria and Vendilyn.

The main aim of the revisions is to make rules, lore, and setting information more accessible, bringing together and rearranging material scattered over the current line of game books. We will also take the opportunity to tweak some aspects of the rules and add support for character creation and development, though without altering the game’s basic mechanics. This is not a new edition, but an improved and expanded version of the existing one – a fresh start, that we hope you will help us bring into being!

Symbaroum Core Rulebook

The Symbaroum Core Rulebook provides everything needed to bring the game to the table. It includes the setting introduction, game rules, character creation, a tutorial adventure and practical advice for running or designing adventures.

Compared with the current version, it has been restructured and supplemented with material from the Advanced Player’s Guide. Therefore, the revised book is easier to navigate and better suited to both new and returning groups.

The Gamemaster’s Guide provides advanced tips, guidelines and rules for developing and customising your Symbaroum game. It is also packed with mystical artefacts, powerful ceremonies, plot hooks, lore and setting inspiration.

  • Important locations, including key settlements, the Underworld, Yonderworld and Spirit World
  • Setting and adventure design guidance for campaigns, game modes, encounters and heroic challenges

The Davokar Creature Codex updates the award winning Symbaroum Monster Codex with a new name and revised statblocks. Other than that, the content and design remain much the same, with additional creatures and a more practical statblock format.

It builds on the information presented in the Gamemaster’s Guide, adds regional character creation options and finishes with a long list of detailed adventure locations.

The book features Armarat, a haven where many survivors reside, and explores what lies beyond its borders from a player-facing, in-game perspective.
